Scaffolders | Bhp Shutdown Opportunities

Our multidisciplinary service offering includes the traditional services of scaffolding, rope access, insulation, protective coatings & blasting and passive fire protection as well as specialist services such as refractory, asbestos management, and advanced industrial cleaning and vaccumation of heat exchangers, pipes, tanks and vessels using high pressure water and chemicals. We are seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced and qualified Scaffolders (Advanced & Intermediate) for upcoming major shutdowns on our Projects in Western Australia. We are ramping up our projects going forward into our contract with BHP for the next 2+ years. These positions will be offered on a fly in, fly out basis from with accommodation provided at purpose-built camps. Prior to mobilisation, you must be available for 2 days VOC & training at our Jandakot training facility. These dates will be allocated upon your application being accepted by Cape Australia. To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum 12 months proven Scaffolding experience
  • Previous experience within a mining & minerals maintenance environment is essential
  • Valid nationally recognized High-Risk Work License
  • Current Working at Heights (less than 3 years old)
  • Current Confined Space (less than 3 years old)
  • Current Gas Testing atmosphere certificate (less than 4 years old)
  • Current and Valid HR Licence is desirable
  • Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
