An exciting new opportunity has opened up for a Project Manager and Solution Architect in the Department of Civil Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering. Monash University and Monash City Council are working in collaboration on the iSense Oakleigh project, which entails the build of a smart precinct underpinned by advance sensoring technologies and data communication network.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of this project by drawing on current project management methodologies. You will be required to work with multiple stakeholders, devising solutions and providing expert advice to senior management to address complexities around the project.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong IoT/Smart Cities technological knowledge, as well as excellent project management skills in delivering medium to large-scale projects through to completion successfully. We are looking for an individual who has great organisational skills, exceptional analytical skills as well as highly developed relationship management skills.
