The Manager, Landscape Operations is a pivotal role for mobilizing land managers to manage their natural resources through a whole of landscape approach to natural resources management. The position leads and manages a team to deliver the SE NRM Board's pest and soils management programs through effective project management including setting annual work plans, budgets and timelines for delivery. The team actively collaborates with the community and stakeholders to ensure the programs address community concerns and implement the outcomes of the regional Business Plan and SE Pest Management Strategy. The Manager will require a strong knowledge of landscape level land management, excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management.

Special Conditions
Position is based in Mt Gambier, Naracoorte or Keith, by negotiation.

Full time contract for 2 years.

Some out of hours work, intrastate travel involving overnight absences from home may be required.

A current driver's licence, and willingness to drive, is essential.

Requirements
This role has been designated as a Position of Trust. A National Police Clearance is essential.

The successful applicant must be willing to undertake and satisfactorily complete within a reasonable period of commencing in the role, accredited training that relates to the administation of the Natural Resources Management Act.

Remuneration
$100,059 - $108,307 per annum (ASO7)
