The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, housing, community initiatives and regional services reform.

The Department of Communities will relocate its head office to the new purpose-built Kings Square, Fremantle, that is set to accommodate 1500 State Government employees. This move is currently scheduled for April 2020.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Work Health and Safety Strategic Policy Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategic and operational WHS policy and training underpinned by research and analysis to inform development. You will also take a lead role in developing draft discussion papers, frameworks and plans, detailed policies and training programs as well as monitor and support implementation strategies.

There is currently one permanent full time position available for filling.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to appoint to this advertised vacancy, it may also be used to appoint to similar positions that may arise in the Agency within the next 6 months.
