Solution Architect x5
The Solution Architecture team in the Information Management and Technology Division of the Department of Education and Training is expanding and we've got five new Solution Architect positions to fill.
The purpose of these roles is to support multiple projects / platforms within the Department of Education and Training (DET) by designing technology solutions on enterprise platforms that align to the enterprise architecture.
To be successful in the role you must have:
Experience performing in ICT roles such as Solution Architect, Business Analyst, Technical Operations or Engineering, supporting large-scale service optimisation, integration and change programmes
Demonstrated ability to design or deliver 'leading edge' data-driven solutions to significant business problems while balancing function, service quality and systems management requirements that align to the Enterprise Architecture
Experience working with target and transitional architectures across architecture domains such as CRM, integration, business rules and processes, security, IdAM and infrastructure
Experience in developing or delivering project solution architectures and in providing feedback and input to Architecture standards, patterns and models
Experience in solution design or deployment within Cloud providers (Azure, AWS)
Experience working in a Lean-Agile, Scrum, and iterative development practice
A solid technical foundation, with hands-on background experience in Information Technology systems as a developer / business analyst / operational or design engineer
Experience in providing technical advice and conducting successful consultations, while demonstrating strong verbal and written skills
Experience with the following technologies would be an advantage - SalesForce, MuleSoft, IBM Operational Decision Manager, Security, IdAM, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft O365, AWS
