Your new role
This organisation requires a Design Engineer to contribute to the provision of safe, effective and efficient Road Design to the community. In this role you will survey, investigate, prepare and review design plans, estimates and alternate options for a variety of civil engineering projects including road, kerb and gutter, footpath, stormwater drainage, traffic facilities and carparks. You will also perform the project management tasks associated with the project works in accordance with Council's procurement policies.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Significant post qualification experience in the survey, investigation and design including estimates for roads, traffic facilities, stormwater drainage and other civil engineering projects
• Previous experience in local government in preferred
• Current Class "C" driver's licence
