Our Sydney Invoice2go team is looking for an awesome Senior Android developer to join the mobile team. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a passionate Android team and make a massive impact on our next stage of growth.

Our Android users are our second largest revenue stream, so what we do matters. We're looking for a strong engineer to join the team and help focus on some of the bigger projects that are en route. Some of the things we are already doing include the redesign of our UI, material design and continuing to make the Invoice2go app experience for Android devices unique.

It's a great time to join us. Our product teams have some challenging and exciting projects ahead, so there will be lots of work to do. Whilst doing this, your surrounded by a great team who continue to practice code reviews and coach and mentor each other daily.

What you'll be doing?

  • Help and bring your knowledge on redesigning the Android UI, work on material design and make the Android experience feel unique to their devices

  • Our payments features are coming along well. But there is lots of work to do to make it better. Working on some of those key payments features and redesigning the on-boarding experience for customers

  • Learning the challenging combination of functional programming

What you'll be good at?

  • Understanding the concept of functional programming

  • Our Android app is 100% Kotlin. You'll know how to develop in it and love it

  • Flexible in your approach. We choose architecture that suits the problem, not the person

  • Customer centric. We want to increase our Android usage to over 200,000, help to see gaps and recognise opportunities by looking deeper into the usage data of our customers
