About Our Client

Well regarded painter – decorating firm are working on a wide range of projects from new build to renovations and smaller jobs too, right across the Brisbane metro area. They now seek a skilled qualified full time painter to join the team

Tenure - full time, ongoing

Salary - great salary in the range $50,000 to $60,000 per annum plus superannuation

To be considered, you need to be able to demonstrate the following attributes and strengths:

• Well experienced in all aspects of the painting trade. Excellent communication skills.
• You must be comfortable in a team or working alone and have a clear vehicle license.

• Painting to the highest standard of workmanship - surface prep, as well as mixing and matching
• Working with a deep understanding of OHS practices and requirements, apply protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish and/or other related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment and other structures.
• Washing, scraping, sanding and/or smoothing interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, varnishing or applying other related materials
• Thoroughly cleaning equipment, paint mixing area and work area
• Installing, repairing and maintaining all sorts of internal surfaces, walls to ceilings
• Competently and erect and use apparatus (ladders and planks) to work safely at all heights
• Identification, safe handling and appropriate disposal of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials and other hazardous materials.
