Syngineering Connect Pty Ltd currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Chemical Engineer/Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Banyo, Brisbane. The chemical engineer/process engineer will be responsible for developing waste water treatment plant Functional Descriptions, PFD’s, P&ID’s, Mass Balances, Data Sheets, SOP’s, Risk Assessments and Bills of Materials. The chemical engineer/process engineer will also conduct concept testing for all applications using laboratory scale systems and arrange third party independent testing of all samples.

You must have:

• Tertiary degree in Engineering or relevant equivalent degree
• At least 5 years of relevant experience

Ideally, you will also have:

• Have excellent time management, organisational, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Be able to conduct product Research & Development independently and to capture IP
• Have the ability to multitask and appropriately prioritise while under operational pressure
• Be driven, highly organised with a high level of personal accountability and integrity
• Have a hands-on attitude/culture
• Have experience in organising a manufacturing environment
• Have experience with inventory management systems
• Have experience with ISO and quality systems
• Be competent with computers
• Have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise duties
• Have experience in writing procedures, investigation, protocol and reports
