Our client is a growing retail leader with over 200 stores across Australia and a strong ecommerce capability. In order to meet growing customer demand, they have commenced an IT and business transformation program and now require a Solution Architect with previous retail experience.

Reporting the CIO, this role will see you responsible for overseeing the end to end delivery of a retail technology transformation, ensuring design and technical components meet business objectives. The transformation includes the implementation of a new ecommerce platform and the delivery of a new supply chain solution. Integration into the existing systems including MS Dynamics is a key focus.

Key skills and experience required include:

• 5+ years' experience Solution Architect or in a similar technical leadership role
• Extensive retail domain knowledge
• The ability to collaborate with internal teams and delivery partners to ensure solutions meet customer needs
• Work with customers to define solutions and build IT delivery execution strategy
• Create and review solution design across the IT transformation including integration
• Previous experience across the retail ecosystem from POS application, store technologies to back-end systems such as ERP, inventory management systems, CRM, etc.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to oversee and mange technical delivery
