JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a joinery supervisor with experience in new build housing and looking for stability at present?

Cedar Careers is working alongside one of Perthshire's most reputable housebuilder's as they seek to add a Joinery Foreman to their site team.

Responsiblities

Working alongside a Site Manager and initially closing off a development on the south side of Aberdeen before returning to a new development kicking off in Perth, you will be responsible for the following

  • Coordinating construction work and resources to meet programme.
  • Producing schedules and monitor attendance of sub contract trades and labour on site.
  • Allocating general and daily responsibilities.
  • Supervise and train workers and tradespeople.
  • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
  • Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
  • Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget.
  • Resolve problems when they arise.
  • Liaise regularly with management on progress and problems that occur.

To be shortlisted for this role, it is essential you come from a trades background and preference will be given to a joinery bias due to the nature of the work involved.
