CSG Talent are currently working with a large Mining contractor to support their search for an experienced Underground Mine Foreman for an upcoming opportunity within their Australian mining operations, to lead and inspire their crew to perform to the highest level.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager on the site and ideally rotating out of Perth on an 8/6 roster, the Underground Mine Foreman will be focused on ensuring seamless daily operations and ensure that safety standards and practices are adhered to.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a high-speed development, mechanised mining environment.
• WA Underground Supervisor's certificate of competency or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of, and experience with, modern production techniques.
• Proven ability to plan and coordinate the activities of multiple teams and a large and modern fleet of mining equipment engaged in underground mining activities.
• Adherence to mining laws and safety regulations, and ability to issue directives to workers to ensure adherence to applicable rules and regulations.
• Manage the Underground Shift Supervisors and provide direction and assistance with planning of mining activities in accordance with the Mines Act relevant Safety and Environmental regulations.
• Proven ability to liaise with appropriate client contacts and ensure expectations are realistic and projected targets are achieved safely and to specifications.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of UG mining methods.
