We have position available for a 3rd or 4th year Roof Plumbing apprentice looking continue their Roof Plumbing apprenticeship.

The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to gain exposure to all sectors of the Roof Plumbing trade. All while working towards and completing your apprenticeship.

To be the successful applicant for this position you will need to be passionate about Roof Plumbing and take pride in your work, you will also need to be a team player who understands the importance of teamwork but also have the ability to work individually and show initiative, be prepared to work hard and go the extra mile. Previous site experience is not necessary but looked upon favourably. You will be required to travel to various sites and locations within the metro area.

Requirements:
Roof Plumbing isn't just a job - it's a professional career. By doing an apprenticeship and getting qualified, you're setting yourself up for ongoing employment as a well-paid tradesperson. You’ll also open up opportunities to do further study in supervision or site management, go to university, or start a business and train your own apprentices.

Minimum of year 10 schooling
Previous roof plumbing or trade experience
Certificate II/ Pre-App in Building & Construction (preferred)
Drivers licence & reliable vehicle
CI Card (White Card) (or be willing to obtain prior to starting)
Willing to travel
Work references

Please note that we have a huge demand for junior apprentices at the moment (under 21 years of age)

Some tasks will require moderate dexterity and moderate to high physical exertion through varied working positions, e.g. standing, kneeling, bending and overhead positions, working at heights plus digging and handling building products.

Apprentices are expected to be available during required working hours for both work placements and trade school/training centre environments and make their own safe travel arrangements.

Please note that all tasks carried out in conjunction with this position will be done so in accordance with WHS/OHS legislative requirements, codes of practice, job safety analysis and safe working/operating procedures.
