What will you do?
Located in our TOWNSVILLE office, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Structural / Forensic engineer to join a highly skilled and multi-disciplinary team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the forensic assessment, investigation and subsequent reporting of building damage and defects.
You will play a vital role within the team to further develop capabilities and explore market opportunities.
What will you bring to the team?
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Structural / Civil Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia)
- Five years of Structural Engineering experience
- Be a (or working towards) Registered Profesional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
- Have the ability to work in a team and also autonomously
- Prior forensic engineering experience would be well regarded
- Thorough knowledge of Building code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of structural design software
- Have a sound working knowledge of building structures including competency in structural steel, reinforced concrete and structural timber framing
- Be a highly motivated individual who takes a high level of pride and personal ownership of their work
