Kyora Landscapes (Kyora) Pty Ltd is an expanding Landscaping company based on the Northern Beaches looking for a full-time Landscape Gardener to join our team!

Kyora Landscapes has been successfully landscaping commercial and residential gardens throughout Sydney since 1992. We offer our clients a complete landscape service including Landscape Design, Construction & Maintenance. We have built our reputation on our horticultural expertise and our attention to detail. Over the years Kyora Landscapes have built a vast array of projects for government, builders, developers, and architects.

We provide a rewarding positive workplace for employees. We encourage professional development and are offering a base salary of $64,480 plus super to the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing plans and setting out landscape works on site
  • Leading a team on Landscape Construction Projects building landscape

structures
  • Ensuring a high quality of onsite work from commencement to completion
  • Planning and coordinating landscape construction works both hard and

softscapes including paving, building retaining walls, constructing decks/

pergolas, planting, turfing etc.
  • Identifying plant pests & diseases and treating them as required
  • Assisting with the ordering of materials and supplies for landscape construction

projects including taking deliveries
  • Understanding current WHS legislation to landscape construction works and

implement safe methods of work
  • Operating and maintaining specialised machinery, tools and equipment.
  • Reviewing and preparing plans and drawings, selecting materials and plants and scheduling landscaping works
  • Undertaking works in constructing gravel and paved areas, walls, fences. Setting out and installing hardscape and softscape structures.
  • Maintaining garden sites by repairing/installing irrigation systems.
  • Undertake gardening works in high end residential gardens requiring knowledge of plants and related products, gardening methods and techniques and gardening maintenance procedures.
  • Upgrading and maintaining gardens including preparing sites by topsoiling, green keeping, mowing and laying new turf.
  • Undertaking works in pruning and detailing hedges & installing plants.


Skills Or Experience Required
  • Possess a relevant qualification and have at least 3 years working knowledge and experience of residential and commercial landscaping/maintenance
  • Ability to connect and build relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Advanced knowledge in irrigation
  • Detailed understanding of all plant species
  • Highly advanced communication and time management skills are essential
  • Establish, plan and implement strategic development for the long-term growth of the department.
  • Ability to promote and deliver high standards continuously meeting company expectations
  • Management of client reporting and prompt responses to all client correspondence.
  • Sound understanding of Safety, Environmental and Quality systems in the workplace
  • You must be able to pass national police checks.
