WSP has an immediate requirement for a Senior Civil Engineer who is passionate, questioning and looking to help re-build the economy.

Your Responsibilities
  • Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations.
  • Prepare high level technical reports and review medium size project reports in line with Delegation of Authority (DOA)
  • Monitor and managing the scope of multiple projects of varying complexity and size.
  • Write winning proposals and contributes to pursuits. Experienced in wining job from a job.
  • Regularly seek business opportunities via effective Client-centric practices.
  • Develop knowledge and focus on Digital Engineering/BIM based interdisciplinary coordination constructability and/or project controls.
  • Promote the continual improvement of best practice OHS&E and Quality systems and behaviours.
  • Participate to promote a culture of technical excellence within the civil team.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from all parts of the WSP business.
  • Prepare reports for clients on matters relating to engineering services.
  • Record activities contributing to continuing professional development e.g. achieve Chartered Professional Engineering Status or equivalent.


Experience, Skills And Organisational Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent
  • Actively working towards industry chartership.
  • Typically, 6+ years’ experience.
  • Developing experience in managing small teams and supervising graduates.
  • Contributed to building the technical capability of others and transferring technical expertise within the organisation.
  • Experienced in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Some experience in identifying and managing risks in small to medium profile projects.
  • Experience in applying legislation, standards, guidelines and project specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply safety in design processes on projects.
  • Experienced in applying QA and OH&S systems.
  • Working knowledge of organisational approach to risk management, ethics and safety.
  • Working knowledge of systems, procedures and practices.
  • Working knowledge of WSP's organisational capability and how to access it.
