About The Role

We are looking for a talented carpenter to join our strong and driven team. We are seeking a capable, experienced carpenter with at least 3 years of experience. The work involves various carpentry activities including general carpentry, installing structures and shaping and fitting timber parts to form structures and fittings.

Duties

• Following production drawings to craft high quality timber joinery products
• Managing workload efficiently and meeting deadlines for products
• Complying with QC and safety processes
• Cutting materials and assembling sharped parts
• Selecting and working with materials such as timber, veneers, particle board, etc.
• Cutting timbers, lumber and/or panelling to specified dimensions
• Assembling and installing furniture with glue/clamps, dowels, screws, nails, drywall anchors and any other tools and materials as required
• Assembling prepared wood to form furniture and fittings ready to install
• Cutting wood joints
• Determining size and depth of space where cabinets need to be installed and working around to reach limitations.
• Building and installing cabinets and workstations in designed areas in accordance with floor plans

• Experienced with timber joinery highly regarded
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Team player
