Randstad Recruitment is seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join a Local Council in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely, efficient, professional and reliable inspection, survey and/or assessment and determination of Building Control matters to ascertain the details of compliance of building works.
• Provide timely, efficient, professional and reliable composition, production and issue of reports, letters, notices, orders and certificates.
• Provide accurate, timely, efficient, professional and reliable regulatory and technical advice, and liaison with Building Control clients in accordance with Councils policies on customer service delivery.
• Provide timely and efficient attendance to telephone and counter enquires as required by the service imperatives of the department.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Registration as a Building Inspector Unlimited or Limited (VBA) including requisite tertiary qualifications in accordance with the regulations. 
• Well-developed expertise and understanding of the application of relevant Building legislation, codes and standards.
• Broad expertise and experience in regard to building inspection, construction materials, methodologies, techniques, processes and practices for compliance with Building Permit documents and relevant legislation.
