This role will be responsible for the management of all construction related activities including interfacing with a team of project managers, design engineers, schedulers, project controls, urban planners, rail operations, commercial and contracts personnel to deliver the Construction input to the project including works where interface with the metropolitan and regional networks. The scope of works includes tunnels, station boxes (with the associated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls and security related equipment), underground structures for TBM launch and recovery, power supply facilities, train stabling yard and depot for a new rail network.

This role reports to the Director, Rail and Infrastructure and interfaces with many internal and external stakeholders providing construction technical and commercial input and subject matter expertise during the project's development and delivery phases, applying industry best practice techniques.

The role requires extensive expertise in the development and delivery of major rail tunnel and stations infrastructure projects combined with the ability to build and maintain high-level influential relationships across a broad range of stakeholders is fundamental.

You will be a highly focused and driven person who is passionate about contributing to the delivery of public infrastructure, working within a high-performing project team to drive exceptional outcomes. You will have an Engineering qualification or similar relating to construction management with experience working within large projects.
