The Opportunity
We are a collaborative and inclusive National team housed within our 900+ person Property and Buildings group. As such, we strive to offer an exceptional client experience, promoting innovation and ‘future ready’ solutions.
Principally, the focus for this role will be for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead and deliver projects on behalf of our clients in the Public and Private sector
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the development of the business unit against strategic goals.
- Represent and promote the business with the local and regional markets.
- Opportunity to mentor and support the development of the junior team; leading by example.
- Take lead of engineering design projects for our current and multidisciplinary projects.
- Communicate effectively with all external (clients, authorities) and internal (colleagues, managers).
- Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time.
- Build solid client relationships and recognize business development opportunities.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
- Ideally be a chartered engineer or working towards chartered status
- BIM (Revit) literate, or willingness to learn
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working within the building services sector utilising Australian building codes and standards;
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to forge strong client and stakeholder relationships
- A track record of effectively handling competing priorities, prioritising work and meeting tight deadlines
