About the role An opportunity currently exists for a Building Maintenance Asset Officer to undertake building asset management, including the development of planned maintenance schedules to deliver sustainable building infrastructure outcomes which meet the desired community and internal customer outcomes as outlined in the Community Strategic Plan. You will ensure that the property is safe for the public and staff and is managed to maximise the benefit to Council, the community and facility users. Working as part of the Facilities Management team and reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will manage your work to ensure you meet the targets and commitments against your individual and team work plans and Council’s Operational and Strategic Plans. You will be community focused and work collaboratively with the Facilities Manager, Coordinator Trades Operations and Workshop Manager to ensure the success of the service unit.
