We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Graduate Engineer to join our Installation Team on the Sydney Metro City & Southwest project – Australia’s largest Public Transport Project. In this role, you will work witha dedicated team to manage the installation of signalling equipment accross the whole project from Chatswood to Bankstown.
Key Responsibilities For This Role Includes
- Conduct engineering surveys in the field to make sure that design is appropriate for construction/installation.
- Provide engineering support for installation teams in the field.
- Ensure all documentation is completed to required standard and quality.
- Ensure configuration control of drawings and relevant documentation management.
- Contribute ideas to the team to be able to improve delivery outcomes.
- Recently completed Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Excel.
- Enthusiasm and curiosity to learn and ask questions.
- Ability to self-manage however ask questions at the right time.
- Prior work experience in a construction environment is highly regarded however not essential.
