Description Of The Job Role

In your role as an Electronics Engineer, you will be reporting to the Electronics Engineering Team Lead and will be responsible for all aspects of Electronics design throughout the product development life cycle. You will be working with multi-disciplinary project teams including Mechanical Engineers, Mechanical and Electronics Technicians to ensure successful project delivery from design concept through to manufacturing and on-going support of the product.

What We're Looking For

You'll need

A relevant degree in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering or similar

1 to 3 years of recent experience in relevant disciplines

Experience with both digital and analogue circuit design

Experience with assembly and troubleshooting of electronic systems

Motivation to learn and implement new technologies and solutions

Creation of product technical documentation

A strong interest in project planning, scheduling and ongoing management

Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks and projects

Good communication and problem-solving skills

A desire to learn and work as part of a close team

Good attention to detail

It would also be desirable if you had an interest or experience in:

Basic Mechanical components and their integration with electronics

System integration higher level software systems

Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio

The PCB design process, some experience of schematic capture and PCB layout

Firmware programming of microprocessors in ‘C'

Hands-on Wiring and soldering skills
