Position

The Security Architect will manage the requirements necessary to protect Metro Trains and our goals, business processes and adequately addressed in all aspects of architecture including strategies, guidelines, security best practice, reference models, segment and solution architectures, and the resulting systems supporting those goals and business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the company’s technology and information systems.
  • Work within the OCMS Architecture, Security and Data function to support development and delivery of information security requirements in OCMS supported programs.
  • Work with the procurement and the OCMS Architecture, Security and Data function to support the inclusion of information security requirements in third party contracts.
  • Provide regular reporting as directed on aspects of the current status of the information security program.
  • Understand and interact with related disciplines to ensure the consistent application of security requirements to all technology projects, systems and services, including privacy, risk management, compliance and business continuity management.
  • Assist projects with OCMS components in the specification and application of mandatory controls.
  • Maintain an up to date skill set.
About You
  • Degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent work- or education-related experience.
  • Professional security management certification is desirable, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other similar credentials.
  • Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture certification (SABSA) is desirable.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in the design and implementation of Operation Technology (OT) / Information Technology (IT) security technical environments and in the implementation of all aspects of cyber security frameworks.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an OT/IT information security architecture role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
