As Site Engineer on a variety of challenging and high-profile projects you will be provided career advancement opportunities and gain great exposure to the broader sector.

The current portfolio includes rehabilitation works, water and sewerage, road and highway, and other infrastructure projects valued up to $40m. The key purpose of this role will be to support the Project Engineer with the day-to-day activities, overseeing and coordinating site personnel.

Reporting into the Project Engineer, some of your day-to-day duties will include:

• Managing subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on time and to budget
• Oversee quality assurance and safety on site
• Assist with contract management
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with relevant code and standards
• Report regularly into the Project Engineer and Project Manager
• Assist with cost control and forecasting

To be suitable for this role you will hold the following skills and experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 1-year experience working on Civil Infrastructure projects
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Previously worked for civil contractors in QLD
