  • $124,033 to $165,983 (Plus Superannuation)

The Pipeline Engineer will support the engineering development and delivery of CarbonNet's CO2 transportation pipeline network. The pipeline network will link multiple industrial sites in the Latrobe Valley, to CarbonNet's offshore storage site(s) in the Gippsland Basin.

The successful candidate will demonstrate –

  • experience in delivery of pipeline projects in Oil & Gas sector;
  • personal leadership on Health, Safety and Environment and Operational Excellence;
  • understanding of key regulatory requirements for the development and delivery of high-pressure natural gas/ CO2 pipelines, as required by AS2885, AS4041, B31.3 and AS4645.

The position of Pipeline Engineer, CarbonNet is part of the Commercial branch within the Rural and Regional Victoria group. The Rural and Regional Victoria Group works with local businesses and communities to build a stronger economy and better future for rural and regional Victorians. The Commercial Branch oversees central governance and risk management of infrastructure and major projects delivered or managed by RRV; and designs program funding, monitors compliance and evaluates outcomes of government investment in regional Victoria.
