About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our team working in the Open Excavations section of the Melbourne Metro. The roster is Monday to Friday with a rotating weekend, typically 1 per month.
The shift pattern varies week of days then 1 week of nights, or 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights.
The shifts are typically 12hr days, with the contracted hours being hrs and overtime paid on hours work over the 38.
The is for an engineering surveyor, structural set out, as built, reporting within the tunnel however, this is not a "Tunnel/Excavation" position.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake civil surveys including construction structural set out, as built
- Manage and control survey documentation to statutory authorities and project guidelines
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- 5+ year's experience working in civil infrastructure projects
- Skilled in 12d & 12d Field (desirable)
- A minimum Diploma in Surveying
- Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software
- The ability to work in a technically complex environment and deliver project milestones
- Current Australian driver's license
