Civil Estimator - civil works, including earthworks. Perth based with travel to site when required.

Your new company
Established family owned Civil Contractor that has a strong reputation in the North West of WA. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work they are now looking for a Civil Estimator to join their team.

Your new role
Working closely with the Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for:

• Manage the tender process for a range of projects, from initial briefing to submission
• Develop the tender strategy & manage the financial submission
• Negotiate with tenders and sourcing tender submissions
• Arranging quotations and pricing for subcontractors
• Prepare take-offs and tender estimates
• Site inspections and quality assurance
• Contract administration
• Analyse risk and opportunities and ensure accurate costing through benchmarking

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience estimating civil construction projects
• Must have experience in Civil Engineering and Earthworks industry
• Strong capability of pricing projects using first principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exemplary technical knowledge and analytical skills
