We're partnering with an ASX listed mining and minerals processing company to source a Package Engineer to support package expedition associated with key materials handling projects on site. 

The incumbent will be responsible for establishing the procurement plan based on execution strategy, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders and overseeing QA.

This role is suited to someone based in Brisbane who is willing to travel fortnightly, or on a roster to site. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage the expediting process over a portfolio of projects, developing the scopes of work for execution.
  • Oversee the QA and establish the procurement plan based on the execution strategy. 
  • Engage and liaise with internal and external stakeholders including ESP, site-based teams, procurement and others. 
  • Attend and participate in weekly meetings with key leaders to ensure project buy in.

About You:

  • Engineering qualification (mechanical discipline).
  • 10+ years postgraduate experience
  • Demonstrated experience on site, as well as on the owner's team.
  • Experience with materials handling projects highly regarded.
