Our client is a well-established Building and Construction company specialising in Commercial and Residential Construction and Commercial Maintenance servicing across the Illawarra and South Coast of NSW. Projects range from $0.5M up to $5M across multiple sectors meaning that no one project is the same, allowing you to continue to diversify your skillset.

As the Site Foreman, you will:

• Coordinate construction activities in line with construction schedule
• Be responsible for performance and attendance of on-site staff
• Ensure all site staff have been inducted and have the appropriate PPE to perform work on-site
• Manage safety of site in line with Safe Work Method Statements and Work Health and Safety guidelines
• Conduct Toolbox Talks
• Allocate resources as required
• Supervise on-site staff, contractors, plant and equipment
• Report on progress
• Escalate any potential delays

To be considered for this position, you will possess:

• Certificate III in Carpentry or Certificate IV in Building and Construction
• Proven experience in Australia delivering both residential and commercial projects
• In depth knowledge of Work Health and Safety
• Effective communication skills
• Driver licence and own transport
• Own tools
• A hands-on approach to leadership and management
