JOB DESCRIPTION
Southwest Construction Services are a cilvil construction business based in Sydney. We specialise in formwork, steel fixing and concrete. We are currently seeking experienced, full-time Formwork Carpenters to join our team for ongoing work throughout Sydney and NSW.
Must hold a relevant Trade qualification, or have at least 3-4 years of relevant experience. Suitable candidates will be reliable, hard working, safety driven and a good fit for the team.
To be suitable for the Formwork Carpenter position, you will be proficient in preparing falsework to provide temporary support structures for forms, carry out setting out, levelling operations, carry out measurements and calculations, carry out concreting to simples forms, construct and dismantle formwork for footings, slabs, stairs, ramps, columns, stairs and walls. Have the ability to handle carpentry tools, materials and equipment, read and interpret drawings and specification.
