Job Description:
The Project Engineer is primarily responsible for delivery of infrastructure upgrades at the Patawalonga system for the Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch. The role will also involve bringing about improvements in the way DEW constructs and operates its infrastructure in accordance with environmental outcomes, and operational requirements. The incumbent will work closely with other business units within Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch, and DEW more generally to provide advice and deliver projects relating to water infrastructure and operations.
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
- A current class "C" driver's licence and willingness and ability to safely oprate a 4wd is essential.
- Some out of hours work may be required as part of the position.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of normal hours of work.
Selection Criteria:
A tertiary qualification in Engineerng, Natural Resources, Applied Science or equivalent relevant to natural reources management is essential.
