JOB DESCRIPTION

Randstad Civil Division has an exclusive position with a Tier 1 Contractor who has an ongoing Civil / Rail infrastructure Project in Brisbane Queensland.

This client is highly respected within the Queensland market - and they are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join their team.

Ideal candidate will have previous Rail infrastructure / Civil / Commercial Client and Managerial Experience.

Minimum 12 x Month contract basis - ongoing to run 2-3 Years+

Position Details

Manage a schedule of works to optimise safe and timely delivery and minimise disruption delay and inconvenience to all stakeholders;

  • Directly managing a project team and a group of sub-contractors to the agreed schedule of works;
  • Manage the client interface ensuring contractual requirements are always achieved;
  • Prepare documents, reports and project plans as necessary for the management of the project;
  • Accurately prepare Monthly project reporting requirements, including forecasting and invoicing;
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the company HSE requirements; & Have a sound commercial acumen to protect client in all dealings.

    • Manage the commercial / Financial / Scheduling aspect of the project / Claims variations

    Managing project team of 10 including including - Schedular, CA`s, Safety Manager, Project Engineers

    What You Need

  • Minimum 5 years minimum experience in a similar PM / Commercial Manager / Senior CA role is preferred
  • Previous experience in the construction and/ or rail environment (desirable) as you will need to determine the requirements for and understand the impacts of construction/ installation activities in and interfacing with the rail corridor

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
    • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
