This renowned consulting firm is dominant in the building services industry and they now require an experienced engineer to join their Melbourne fire protection team to assist with a growing project order book.
Profile
You will be a qualified and experienced Fire Protection Engineer who has worked with local consulting firms. You will be well versed with securing project briefings from clients, liaising with local authorities, performing calculations and analysis, design documentation, conducting site inspections, coordinating with other services and representing the company during the delivery of project from initial conception right through to completion.
Attributes
The new Engineer - Fire Protection will be able to demonstrate:
- Bachelor of Engineering, e.g. Mechanical;
- Minimum 5+ years of industry experience on Australian building projects;
- Government fitout, commercial, residential, retail
- Victorian Building Practitioners certificate would be an advantage but not mandatory
- Capacity to assist with guiding the process of delivering projects through utilising a mixture of developed technical and stakeholder engagement skills;
- Strong presentation and communication skills, and;
- display a can do attitude
- Aptitude and willingness to train, assist and mentor junior engineers.
