As mParticle continues to scale across the APJ region, we're looking for our first solution engineer to spearhead the technical pre-sales and implementation function in the region. This individual will be primarily responsible for partnering with our VP of Sales and Sales Directors to grow our customer base as well as our local technical team, along with delivering value through implementation.

Our Solution Engineers are a particularly critical pillar to mParticle's customer and solution success, working with sales and success teams to land and expand the footprint of our industry-leading Customer Data Platform. You will interact with the largest disruptive consumer-facing brands (Starbucks, Discovery, NBC Universal, M&S, King, Adidas, Glovo Spotify, McDonald's, Airbnb, Klarna, and many more), aligning mParticle's industry-leading infrastructure and marketing technology to solve their business and technology challenges.

What You'll Do

• Evangelise mParticle to our potential customers, developing strong technical solutions that map to their business needs. This may include:

• Technical discovery around current customers architectures, understanding their business and technical challenges/opportunities
• Providing ad-hoc support to the global partnerships team, ensuring new and existing partners become fully versed with the mParticle platform
• Host technical workshops where you'll be sitting side by side with developers, instrumenting the mParticle SDK's and API's, to demonstrate platform capabilities and overcome any technical objections
• Architect and execute Proof of Value plans to achieve technical selection over the competition
• Develop custom applications across web, mobile, voice, and OTT platforms and integrate the mParticle platform to demo the solution in their current & future state
• Solution design for advanced use cases using mParticles' platform SDK's, API's and the full suite of capabilities
• Building strategic crawl, walk, run plans and align the appropriate implementation plan to put your customers on a victory path through value realisation

Lead complex business/technical integrations between mParticle clients' apps and data platforms with the mParticle SDKs and platform

Serve as the primary technical contact for key mParticle clients; proactively drive platform adoption in addition to answering clients' day-to-day tactical needs.

Own customers technical roadmap for the mParticle platform

Drive engagement with product marketing, product, consulting and customer success on existing gaps, futures, and product strategies

Become an expert in the mParticle platform and ecosystem of 300+ integrations

Become an expert in data security, governance and consumer privacy, keeping up to date with the constant shifts within the data privacy landscape

Focus on being a trusted technical advisor in a pre-sales context to partner with engineering organisations who are undergoing vendor evaluations

Present at industry events, conferences, and meetups

We'd love to hear from you if you

• Have a 4-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Nice to have: 3-5+ years experience in a Data Engineering/similar role developing, maintaining, and testing infrastructure
• Have 3-5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering/Architecture role for a software product
• Demonstrated strong experience collaborating with product marketing, product, engineering, and data science teams, translating business requirements and use cases into technical solutions
• Are equally fluent talking technical details or taking a 30,000-foot view
• You have a love for technology, problem-solving and have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and self-improvement
• Never met a whiteboard you didn't like and can design complex solutions on the fly for a small audience, or command a large cross-functional team of multi-faceted team members
