The Position:
We have an exciting full time opportunity for an experienced Building Operations Manager based at our Support Office in Hawthorn East, just 9 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. Our head office is a thriving, supportive and friendly workplace where you can collaborate with colleagues from a variety of business units.
The Building Operations Manager is responsible for the day to day management of multiple aged care facilities within the North West Region, and will be provided with a tool of trade vehicle for this purpose, as well as personal use. Overseeing a team of Maintenance Officers located within the region, you will ensure that statutory compliance is sustained through the application of a scheduled building and grounds maintenance program.
The successful candidate will have experience working in property or maintenance within the aged care sector, and have the capacity to implement minor to medium sized capital works projects. This role requires someone that is proficient in managing multiple staff, and who holds a strong knowledge and commitment to OH&S regulations and aged care accreditation. In this rewarding position, you will help maintain the residential homes, and provide clients with a positive ageing experience.
