WE’RE LOOKING FOR TALENTED PEOPLE TO JOIN OUR TEAM

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be directly responsible for head contract, subcontract and supplier engagement, management, and closeout in accordance with Primero’s contractual and procedural requirements.

Specific to this role, you will be accountable for:
  • Cost forecasting
  • Reviewing and preparing documentation throughout the contracts, commercial and procurement processes
  • Preparing reports and management of dayworks
  • Assist engineers with TQ valuations
  • Develop and monitor Subcontract and Supply packages from ITT to closeout
  • Identification and management of cost claims
  • Monitoring deliverables under the contract against requirements and responding in a timely manner where issue arise or can be seen to arise
  • Undertake and participate in Tender Evaluations

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Previous experience facilitating successful contract delivery of contracts within the mining sector.
  • Skilled at reporting forecast costs vs actual and an understating overall impact on the project bottom line.
  • Ability to effectively manage project cost claims
  • Ideally have completed a Bachelor-Quantity Surveying, relevant qualifications and/or experience in the field of Engineering, Business, Commerce, Finance or Law they may be considered.
