The primary role of the Application Support Engineer is to provide first level support to the Tyro staff for our Tyro Acquiring Platform. This function will be part of a team that has a focus on improving reliability engineering practices and operational excellence within the Payments line of business.

What You'll Do

    • Act as the first point of contact for internal customers seeking technical assistance in-person and remotely for the Tyro acquiring platform
    • Manage ticket queue effectively by responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
    • Take ownership of support requests and troubleshoot, document and escalate as required.
    • Follow-up and update customer status and information.
    • Contribute to user documentation for the acquiring platform based on your learnings.

What You'll Need
    • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a customer focused position involving technical knowledge of a company' s products and services
    • A friendly and positive customer-centric attitude
    • Ability to work in a team environment where you can help drive efficiency and improvements
    • Great written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
    • Able to demonstrate skills in problem analysis and resolution finding
    • Completed or in-progress tertiary qualifications in IT is highly regarded
    • Industry certifications is desirable
