JOB DESCRIPTION
As a highly regarded company within the building and construction industry, our client is seeking to employ an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Melbourne team. This is an exciting opportunity to enter into a dynamic business that is consistently growing and with plans for major growth in the future. The company has consistently grown in demand over the year and hence the need to bring on board an additional Business Development Manager.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you will undertake a diverse range of tasks aimed at generating new business opportunities and creating new revenue streams. You will be given a portfolio of key growth accounts to manage and grow whilst consistently seeking new business opportunities. You will also be expected to build and maintain relationships across the Industrial and Commercial sectors and provide a consultative based sales approach.
Suitable candidates will have had a background working in the building products or construction services industry and have experience working with Builder and developer clients along with a proven track record of achievement in terms of sales.
You Will Have
- Experience in strategic business development
- Experience selling into Builders and Developers in Tier 1 & Tier 2 Construction
- Strong sales knowledge within building & construction
- Exceptional communication & presentation skills
