Providing technological solutions to the agriculture industry, they have a strong focus on research and development. Due to a period of sustained growth, they are in need of a Process Engineer to join their team in Melbourne's South-Eastern suburbs.

Description

• Design manufacturing processes and procedure to ensure efficient product launch

• Conduct PFMEA to evaluate potential processes

• Design production line layouts and replicate them for international expansion

• Collaborate with the Design team to suggest changes to ease production

• Train production staff on new processes and equipment

• Liaise with suppliers to source materials and arrange tooling

• Improve existing process to reduce costs and increase efficiency

• Assist in the management of post-launch production issues

Profile

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering

• Demonstrated ability to take products from design to manufacture

• Experience conducting PFMEA during product launches

• Track record of developing manufacturing processes

• Sound understanding of CAD Software

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes electro-mechanical products
