About the role

This is a rewarding and challenging CUSTOMER SERVICE OPPORTUNITY for an experienced team player with a ‘can do attitude’ and excellent customer service experience. You will be responsible for the managing the permit applications along with building contracts while also assisting in fulfilling the company’s further goals in growth over the coming years. 

  • Organising appointment with clients in relation to contract signing, specifications, floor plan and quotation.
  • Organising Greywater form and Surveyor form from client.
  • Gain confirmation for quotation approval prior to preparing the contract.
  • Colour Selection checks to be completed with any variation informed accordingly.
  • Advising the relevant departments with documents once permit received.
  • Collection of relevant documents LPOD, SDO, Title Documents, MCP, Convents, Reports and Consent, Dispensation, PPTY info, CIL, Asset Protection, PIC, Vehicle Crossing Protection, RFI response.
  • Applying for Permit Application and follow up on FORM1
  • Liaising and Follow ups with relevant authorities in relation to building package and permit applications.
  • Keeping Builder Trend up to date to communicate with relevant construction teams.
  • Keeping ZOHO CRM up to date
  • Resolution of all the queries in relations to permits in timely manner.
  • Completing the Application process for Gas line and Gas meter.
  • Demonstrate active safety leadership, ensuring the safety and wellness of all employees, clients, visitors, and contractors.
  • Manage day-to-day operations with a focus on safe work practices that are compliant with local legislation and 5AB Homes standards
  • Engage with and promote continuous improvement and business change.
  • Use appropriate change management methodologies to gain buy-in, achieve sustainable change and improved business performance

Skills and experience:

  • Proven ability to work in a pivotal customer contact role in a customer focused, time critical working environment.
  • Highly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a positive and professional manner in a goal orientated environment.
  • Intermediate Microsoft WORD EXCEL and OUTLOOK computer skills.
  • Experience in pre-site administration within residential ideally within permits; and an understanding of the residential home building and construction process.
