Our Power teamwork throughout Australasia on high-value projects from traditional high voltage power transmission to infrastructure and industrial projects in Rail, Water and Airport markets.
We've honed our skills over many years providing solutions to our power generation, transmission and distribution clients across Australasia.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an intermediate-level Power sector focused Project Manager to continue to grow and shape the success of our Power team in Melbourne. You will be responsible for delivering innovative projects, guiding project teams, negotiating outcomes and managing risk within a commercially driven and collaborative and supportive environment.
This opportunity will allow you to realise your own potential and achieve a step-change in your career. You will bring a mix of your technical expertise and your project management experience to deliver successful client outcomes.
In this role you will;

  • Lead project and project teams to deliver exceptional results to our power clients
  • On-going engagement and liaising with our clients
  • Draw upon your own technical expertise, and those of the broader team to deliver high-quality technical advice to our clients
  • Drive delivery excellence across the Power team
About You
The opportunity to lead projects and deliver high quality work in direct communication with our clients. We expect you to take on accountability and use your initiative to partner with clients and deliver excellent outcomes.
Your technical skills are based on solid fundamentals and have been proven through the delivery of robust and innovative power engineering designs. You will be an experienced problem-solving Project Manager (with a power-sector background) and be comfortable leading teams and mentoring junior engineers. You will also have varied Electrical Engineering skills which will allow you to contribute to the power business in a broader sense.
Preferably, you will have proven capability across a range of the following areas:
  • Understanding of a range of engineering disciplines
  • Understanding regulations, policies and procedures
  • Project management and coordination experience for the delivery and implementation and integration for complex systems
  • Commercial business acumen: Project financials; Budgeting, Forecasting & Costing
  • Stakeholder engagement, management and networking
  • Possess relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering
To be part of this dynamic and busy team we're looking for someone with drive, energy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enthusiasm. Previous experience of working in a team environment are a must have for this role, along with the ability to lead and manage multiple tasks.
