Location: Regional QLD FIFO/DIDO out of Brisbane
Main Duties
As a Civil and Roading Supervisor you will be managing all aspects of construction for your own live project and be reporting into the Project Manager. You will be responsible for controlling all aspects of the construction works, including keeping the project adequately resourced with plant and materials, self performing certain elements of works, monitoring and controlling all aspects of H&S, controlling and managing specialist sub-contractors, keeping accurate records of production, providing reports on works completed, etc.
Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role;
- 5 years + experience in a production & supervisory role, and ideally have come from a trade or operator back ground originally
- Previous work history with a main contractor on smaller to medium scale project sizes.
- Previous experience within a TMR environment.
- Ideally managed multiple work faces generally across medium sized projects totalling upto $30-40m.
- Extensive commitment and understanding to all matters relating H&S and the Environment
- Demonstrated experience in directing and managing your own labour force to achieve the desired outcome, keeping in mind commercial constraints.
- Previous experience in managing specialist sub-contractors and self performing works, with hands on experience .
