JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is seeking expressions of interest for Control System Engineers / Technicians to join the team on a 12 month contract. This role will support a key client based in Darwin.
Multiple working arrangements under consideration including residential and FIFO (2 week on / 2 week off roster).
Please note that at this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those who hold Permanent Residency (PR) and do not require company sponsorship to work lawfully in Australia.
Skills / Qualifications
Suitably qualified in Engineering from a recognised institution, ideally you will have:
- 5 years’ experience with control systems and associated IT systems
- Proficient with PLC hardware and code modification (Allen Bradley & Siemens)
- Experience with safety systems (Rockwell AADvance)
- Experience with SCADA systems (Siemens WinCC)
- Troubleshooting communications including OPC & Modbus
- Understanding of various control system architectures
- Commissioning / fault-finding network switches and firewalls
- Experience managing Microsoft Windows O.S. (patches, updates, licensing, cybersecurity)
- Experience using SAP
- Experience working on process facilities with a safety culture
