JOB DESCRIPTION

BRIEF

Global Health tech leader looking for Quality / Automation lead to join and contribute to the design and development of a quality assurance strategy to ensure development and deployment of high availability, event driven application services.

You'll need experience with automated tools like Selenium, Specflow (or Cucumber) and other test environments that help maintain the quality of mainly new .NET applications, features and platforms.

THE JOB

  • Contribute to the design and development of a quality assurance strategy to ensure development and deployment of high availability application services.
  • Drive the development of a unit testing approach, executed by the development team, to ensure unit tests are created for all new functionality.
  • Work with the rest of the team to create and execute a test driven approach to development - TDD.
  • Ensure automated test scripts are written for all new major pieces of work.
  • Develop and maintain automated tools and other test environments that help maintain the quality of application platforms.
  • Deliver resilient products which are built with an issue prevention approach in mind.
  • Work with a development approach that includes:Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, Coding standards, Unit testing, Automated testing.
YOU 
  • Demonstrated track record for code quality, automation, and continuous deployment.
  • Experience driving quality for highly available, global scale, mission critical systems.
  • Develop, analyse, and act upon the company's metrics program for understanding quality and defect trends.
  • Resolve tactical and systemic issues with wide variety of products.
  • Work with product customers to create and conduct user acceptance tests to ensure acceptance of the end product.
  • Support the use of Agile development within the organisation, including consulting support and operational teams in the development of new systems and functionality.
  • Learn and teach new technologies and skills as required.
  • Be an advocate for improvement and discipline, utilising Agile to encourage a fail fast and learn approach.
  • Work with the Product Owner and Development Manager to deliver products which support customers.
  • Be able to articulate and assist others in understanding the goals and directions of the team, particularly, how those goals are broken down into components.
