Public sector authority looking to engage an experienced Civil Engineer to manage Civil Infrastructure Assets.

Your new company
The client is a public sector authority with a range of assets based in the Redland Bay area. They are looking to engage a Civil Engineer with experience managing civil infrastructure assets.

Your new role
You will be coordinating asset management plans for a range of civil infrastructure assets across the area. This will include the development and management of the asset maintenance management system. As part of this, you will conduct asset inspections and audits to maintain up to date records. You will project manage maintenance and improvement works, building productive relationships across multi-disciplinary teams in order to meet time, cost and quality constraints. You will provide technical advice to internal and external clients, ensuring client and community needs are met while complying with environmental and engineering standards. As part of this, you will develop engineering standards and policies to guide asset management plan development and implementation.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will most likely have experience in a similar role managing a range of civil / infrastructure assets. This will include experience across major capital and infrastructure planning programs. You will have experience using and developing asset management systems, along with demonstrated experience developing policies and procedures. You will have proven experience negotiating solutions within a team environment, including the ability to develop sound working relationships. You will also have high level written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to produce reports on complex technical matters.

What you'll get in return
The client is offering a varied and interesting role and an immediate start. The initial contract will run to EOFY, with potential for extension. We would suggest an hourly rate of around $45-50 per hour plus Super.
