JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all projects are carried out in accordance with Quality Systems
- Ensure compliance with H&S Policies and Procedures at all times
- Respond to IT helpdesk requests and provide timely resolutions to matters
- Provide user support
- Visit sites in NSW to troubleshoot IT issues
- Install and configure new IT equipment
- Repair and upgrade computer hardware and software
- Deliver a professional and quality service
- Communicate with all divisions in a professional and courteous manner
- Carry out other duties that are within the limits of the employee's skill as required
- Recommend preventative measures (such as re-training, change to procedures and process)
- Maintain incident reporting system
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience in Windows XP/Vista/7/10, Windows server 2003/2008/2012/2016 remote desktop client services support and maintenance, network support/maintenance
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written including presentation skills
- Logical approach to problem solving
- Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development to ensure skills and knowledge to achieve desired objectives of the position
- A valid driver's license
Desirable
- Experience in Apple products would be advantageous but not essential
- At least with 1 – 2 years' experience in desktop support
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in the form of diploma or degree in computer science or an IT related field would be advantageous but not essential
