McKinna are seeking a full time Civil Engineer to join our growing Team at our Braeside location

Key Tasks include:

· Analysing maps, drawings and blueprints to plan projects

· Meeting with clients, builders, architects and structural consultant to provide design and engineering insights

· Estimating costs, production timing and labour needs based on client requirements

· Applying knowledge of fabrication processes, tools, assembly design and production to determine ways to reduce cost and improve product quality

· Designing manufacturing workspaces to increase efficiency

· Planning and designing manufacturing structures and systems

· Addressing quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness through continuous improvement methods

· Overseeing manufacturing production schedules and related information to facilitate production requirements

· Setting up testing methods of both products and processes

· Evaluating finished products against specifications and company standards

· Preparing and communicating documentation around any new manufacturing processes or procedures.

· Liaising with the builders, architects and external contractors to facilitate the commissioning of the product

· Overseeing fabrication on the factory floor

· Complying with relevant building codes and industry requirements
