Due to continuing growth a fantastic opportunity has come up for an experienced Construction Administrator. Reporting to the Department Manager your daily responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:
- Coordinate, prepare and lodge documents required for building, plumbing, driveway & water connection approvals – monitor progress of applications
- Organise all soil testing and liaising with engineer
- Liaise with Development Managers to acquire soil testing, Deposited Plans, acoustic reports, Bushfire reports, As Cons etc.
- Coordinate, prepare and lodge Relaxation/BOS applications with Private Certifier/Relevant Authority/Local Councils
- Maintain construction registers with all Building Administration workflow dates
- Create individual lot files on Internal system for Building, Plumbing, Driveways, Water, Electricity and Gas meters
- Manage permission to connect for gas and electricity for each lot and coordinate disconnections after settlements
- Manage Homeowner’s Warranty Insurances
- Manage the process of Building Finals for each home; obtain Certificate of Occupancy/ Form 21 ready for settlement and update internal systems accordingly
- Coordinate certificate process i.e. receipt of all Compliance Certificates from subcontractors/suppliers to enable Certificate of Occupancy to be issued and appropriate filing onto Internal Systems.
- Complete Compliance Certificates on behalf of the Business
- Entering & allocating codes in Internal systems for house types in conjunction with Business Systems
- Administrator
- Ensuring all house build data is entered into Framework ECM to enable Finance reporting
- Maintain and update ProCore of all Building Approval and Final Inspection documents – includes
- providing access to new suppliers/subcontractors
- Support and disseminate all relevant information to Site Managers and other Managers as required
- Minimum of 2+ years experience with a residential volume home builder working in a fast paced admin role
- Have a broad understanding of residential construction processes
- Have excellent time management and organisational skills
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- A willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Good computer skills
