This government department is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

Your new role
The Department is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced senior AWS cloud engineer to assist in improvements to our AWS platform and a number of high priority initiatives. The selected candidate will be required to lead design, build and configuration in line with the enterprise approach across the following (indicatively):

• AWS account, OU, policy and role management and change especially through changes to identity providers and services
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) setup and deployments
• Security audit logging design, review and remediation
• Platform monitoring design and implementation
• Abstracted tooling identification, setup and implementation (as required) to suit cross cloud delivery or maintenance activities
• Some application release management activities expected
• Provision of services (eg. EC2 instances, cloudwatch, Lambda), and revision of Security Control Policies
• Knowledge transfer and skill building to operational teams
• Development of and review of architectural and design documentation for cloud based solutions

To be considered for this vacancy you must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a NV1 personnel security clearance.
